A new sport demands new vehicles and there will be two new cars joining the affray - the Mini John Cooper Works Countryman and the Infiniti Q60 S. Points are scored via drift zones, jumps, speedtraps and smackables, performed across 16 new events in four different zones - Canyon, Airfield, Construction and Ember Valley. This new activity has players trying to accumulate as many points as possible whilst running a pre-determined course. One minor addition for those wanting to drive with steering wheels - the team has partnered with Logitech to provide support for the G29 and G920 wheels.Īlong with the free update, there is the new DLC pack, introducing a complete new sport entitled Speedcross. New BMW M performance parts will be available via the garage for a selection of cars, including the M4 GTS, M5, X6M and M2, allowing additional customisation options. Wrapping up the free update is something for the BMW fans in the community. In total there will be 10 different drift runs, available in both day and night settings. Based on the existing single-player Drift Trial events, the new Drift Runs will be allow up to eight players to participate in the online event. Once acquired, it will be available to buy from the one of the dealerships.ĭrift fans will be pleased to hear that a whole new game mode will be added to the Speedlists: Drift Runs. Players simply have to find the abandoned car, escape the cops and keep the car. Cars such as the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R, Volvo 242DL, Volvo Amazon P130, Plymouth Barracuda, Nissan Skyline 2000 GTR and the BMW M3 Evolution II E30 will be appearing in the coming weeks, starting with the Mazda RX-7. The new update will start making these cars available in open world. Some of the sharper-eyed players may have noticed a few cars being driven around Fortune Valley by the Street Leagues that aren’t yet available to own.
